Have you missed your appointment? Due to the high volume of missed appointments we have changed our policy. The new policy can be found under policies on this website.

Patients who are booked for planned operations or procedures at Milton Keynes University Hospital may experience these being postponed when demand for emergency care is particularly high. We appreciate how difficult and upsetting this can be for those affected and will do our utmost to keep postponements to a minimum. If you are not contacted by the hospital, please continue to arrive for your appointment as scheduled.

Welcome to C M K Medical Centre

We are a busy urban practice consisting of ten GPs, 2 Registrars and four practice nurses with district nurses, health visitors and midwifery services. We work closely together for the benefit of the patients.

We believe that we provide a choice of personal care with a wide range of medical interests. In line with modern practices we use a comprehensive computer service which is now a key tool in patient care, record keeping, prescribing and preventative medicine.

We are a training practice which involves fully qualified doctors (registrars) working with us to become General Practitioners. Occasionally, we may also have medical students working alongside our doctors and at such times you will be asked permission for these professionals to be present during your consultation. You do, of course, have the right to refuse.

Patient Notice

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CALLS TO AND FROM THE PRACTICE ARE RECORDED FOR MONITORING PURPOSES

Dear Patients

Dr Emma Huish is shortly due to take a well-earned period of extended leave and will be away from the surgery from Wednesday 2nd January 2019 to Friday 1st March 2019. Dr Samir Khalil will be covering Dr Huish’s appointments during this period.

Many of you will know Dr Khalil. Dr Khalil completed his GP training at the surgery in February 2017. He has revisited us on many occasions providing GP locum cover.

I know that many of you will wish Dr Huish an enjoyable break and extend a warm welcome to Dr Khalil.

Kind regards

Julie
