Nursing Services Manager

Job summary:

The post holder will be a key team leader, responsible for the management of the practice nursing team as well as providing clinics for the patient population. Working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, the post holder will ensure nursing services are delivered effectively to the entitled patient population.

The Nursing Services Manager will be responsible for a number of clinical areas such as infection prevention and control, health promotion, chronic disease management, health prevention, as well as supporting the practice management team in the reviewing and delivery of clinical policy and procedure.

The post holder will manage and develop the nursing team including recruitment, appraisals and clinical supervision. They will also be part of the Senior Management Team and attend practice management meetings.
